Product Manager

 We’re looking for a Customer-first and data-driven product leader, influencer and decision maker who will
grow our business.

The Product Manager ensures that monva has the best product offerings by analysing, positioning, packaging, and promoting our mission across a variety of vertical markets.

The Product Manager is responsible for the product throughout the execution cycle and works closely with the engineering team to continuously improve the Customer experience.

The Product Manager will be a flexible, results-oriented leader with visionary product insight, significant technical expertise and extensive leadership and business skills.

The Product Manager combines a great instinct for developing compelling products with a strong focus on Customers and technical aptitude to work with an outstanding engineering team and the business sense to drive product goals and strategies

You are responsible for shaping the product vision and roadmap. Success will be based on growth in key Customer KPI’s. Central to the role is the need to balance current commercial focus (revenue management) with longer term innovations, while keeping customers at the heart of everything we do.

Working with the engineering teams, you will be prioritising sprint backlog while actively driving all phases of the iteration process. You’ll own product decisions that provide the foundations of great user experiences, ensuring customer research and market insights are acted upon quickly and trade-off decisions are made effectively.

You will work collaboratively with the founding Directors, engineering and commercial teams to help develop products and services that meet the ambitious goals of the company and the needs of our Customers.

In This Role You Will

  • Lead on monva’s product development initiatives
  • Creating and driving the vision, roadmap and goals, all of which support the overall product strategy.
  • Develops product strategy, go-to-market plans, positioning, messaging and all elements related to the business case
  • Develop business cases and analysis for product investment
  • Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy
  • Develop and launch new products and enhance existing products
  • Influence within the company, driving monva’s Customer mission forward
  • Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule
  • Establish partnerships as necessary to drive the growth of monva’s services
  • Contribute to the overall prioritisation of products
  • Focuses on creating product specifications, delivering projects, wireframes, UI/UX, A/B test and defining product rollout strategies.
  • Processes, reviews and interprets large bodies of qualitative and quantitative data on customer usage patterns to uncover new insights to drive new product improvements.
  • Work with a cross-functional team including founders, commercial, marketing and engineers to lead products from conception to launch.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to define the vision of the product and product roadmap.
  • Maintain a view on market trends and competitive best practices.
  • Translate the product roadmap into product requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria with your engineering partners.
  • Track and report product performance post launch in order produce success and future investment.
  • Produce ROI analyses and optimization recommendations.
  • Own growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit and return on investment for the product.
  • Partner with marketing to drive traffic and PR to represent the product in market.
  • Partner with the commercial team to develop and implement optimal commercial strategies
  • Review and accepts completed user stories
  • Coordinate communications, escalates and facilitates resolution of risks, issues, and changes tied to the product backlog

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience building, scaling and managing an online business. Deep understanding of e-commerce and online advertising driven ecosystems.
  • A proven track record in digital product management; defining product strategies that deliver valuable, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with deep understanding of online advertising and information aggregation.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements and convert them into a winning product vision.
  • Demonstrated record in taking service products to leading market positions, in an Agile environment, and challenging timescales
  • Experience in product management, API and solutions architecture.
  • Experience in managing software development lifecycles (innovation, and mature
  • Experience in high performance eCommerce businesses.
  • Experience with A/B and multi-variate testing and customer research/segmentation.
  • Experience with analytics, including conversion and engagement rates.
  • Experienced in launching new products and/or multiple product features within an agile environment.
  • Experience partnering with 3rd party technology providers in a collaborative and agile environment.
  • Emotional intelligence and self-insight that enables you to quickly build trust across teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to effectively communicate and disseminate a product vision
  • Proven capability making data-driven decisions, analysing information to create customer led solutions for business strategy, product development.
