PPC Manager

The PPC manager will take full responsibility for managing and owning the pay per click (PPC) performance of our various comparison services. This is an exciting role, with a high degree of autonomy that balances a broad range of activities. Our PPC activities are critical to the commercial success of monva and you will use your expertise to create paid search strategies to help us succeed.

In This Role You Will

  • Conduct and continually research the market to prepare and optimise monva’s ppc campaign
  • Create campaign’s that help us win in our chosen categories. Initially, this will be in energy, credit cards and loans comparison
  • Deliver campaigns across search engines implementing remarketing, display and programmatic strategies into our mix
  • Deliver profitable trading performance marketing, demonstrating ongoing improvements to operating and trading margins
  • Identify and implement appropriate third-party software to help optimise performance
  • Work with industry contacts at search engines and social media platforms
  • Produce reports Present progress to the management team on a weekly basis

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

We are looking for a paid search specialist with strong practical experience of PPC campaigns, you will have worked either agency or client side, and can articulate the commercial impact you have had on digital businesses.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge and ideally experience of price comparison markets, particularly energy, credit cards and loans
  • Experience of creating and implementing PPC strategies
  • Responsibility for a meaningful paid search budget
  • A background in PPC and a knowledge of best practice
  • A forensic focus on data and performance.  Highly numeric and analytical, comfortable working with data to extract insights that drive decision making.
  • A desire to work and contribute to innovation within a Fintech Startup
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, commercially focused, start-up environment
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders creating strong relationships
  • Confidence to communicate and influence within a team
  • Self-direction to take ownership of tasks and see them through to delivery
  • Digital and online commercial experience, with strong knowledge of digital and performance marketing models. (CPL, CPA, CPC, CPS models.)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage multiple workflows at any one time
  • A close working relationship with key paid search partners such as Bing and Google (desirable)
