Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Marketing Manager to join our team. You will be tasked with creating and implementing an integrated digital marketing plan focused on acquiring new customers and growing revenue per customer via marketing activity to our existing customer base. This will require multi-channel campaigns to target users to our next generation price comparison platform.

We’re looking for someone with experience of running B2C marketing campaigns with a data driven outlook and an obsession with analysing results. You will be confident in presenting results and making recommendations for ongoing improvements. 

This role requires:

  • Continuous implementation and development of all online marketing activities based on new trends and technological developments
  • Drafting of budget calculations
  • Developing keywords and advertising copy
  • A knowledge of online paid marketing in adwords and social media, working with a PPC manager to deliver outstanding results
  • Optimisation of pages and content through A/B and MVT tests
  • A knowledge of the fundamentals of on and off page SEO, assisting in the optimisation of SEO criteria
  • Reporting of performance data via all channels as well as the drafting and presentation of results
  • Creation and delivery of email campaigns that deliver ongoing sales conversion from our customer base
  • Management of website content, blogs, guides and news articles
  • Develop social media strategies to effectively build brand awareness and deliver ongoing customer acquisition
  • Work with our creative agency to produce ongoing creative that converts
  • Campaign planning, preparation and management
  • An ability to work at a fast pace, hitting the ground running and implementing marketing processes as we implement activity.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

    • Demonstrable marketing experience, particularly in an online environment, ideally within financial services or price comparison
    • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
    • Confident communicator – you have the ability to influence and work with multiple stakeholders and collaborate with everyone in the business
    • Intelligent and creative thinker – able to identify opportunities to drive growth / support our customers
    • Able to respond quickly to issues and opportunities
    • Ability to meet deadlines, going above and beyond
    • Knowledge of SEO and an ability to identify and implement opportunities that improve organic ranking
    • Knowledge of PPC
    • Hands on experience of email marketing and marketing automation with known platforms (Mailchimp, etc)
    • Professional dealing with Excel and advanced use of Google AdWords and Web Analytics tools
    • High Internet affinity and state of the art knowledge about new developments in online marketing, social media, e-commerce & web technologies
    • High analytical competence and joy in handling large amounts of data
    • Highly customer focused and motivated to grow commercial revenues
